Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information you provide in the course of placing an order: contact details, shipping address, and institutional affiliation where you supply it. We also capture server-side metadata on your research-use-only acknowledgment (IP address, user agent, and timestamp) as part of our compliance record.

2. What we don’t collect

We do not collect health data, symptom information, or medical history. We do not profile for disease or condition targeting. We do not sell or rent customer data.

3. How we use your information

Order fulfillment, customer support, legal compliance, and lot traceability. Transactional email (order confirmation, shipping updates, COA references) is sent via Resend. Analytics are limited to aggregate traffic measurement.

If you reach us through an affiliate’s link or code, that affiliate can see that the order happened in their own dashboard: your first name and last initial, the products and sizes ordered, the order total, and the commission we paid them. They never see your email address, phone number, or shipping address. (Added: September 25, 2026.)

4. Retention

Order records and research-use-only acknowledgments are retained as part of our compliance documentation. Account data is retained for the life of the account. You may request deletion of non-legally-required data by emailing admin@benchgradepeptides.com.

5. Visitor identification

We work with a visitor-identification partner, Customers.ai, to learn who is browsing this site. When you visit benchgradepeptides.com, a script on the page may match your browser against an identity graph that partner maintains and return an email address for your visit — even if you have never given us one, made an account, or bought anything. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this is sharing your personal information, and you have the right to tell us to stop. Our partner works with its own identity-data and analytics providers, which receive the same visit information.

What we do with it. If a partner identifies you, we may send you up to two emails: an introduction to our research catalog and our certificate-of-analysis library, and one follow-up. Those emails come from a separate sending address, go to a separate mailing list, and each carries a working unsubscribe link and our postal address. Identified addresses are not added to our newsletter or our campaign schedule unless you choose to join. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Where it does not run. The identification script is never loaded on account pages, the wholesale portal, sign-in and sign-up pages, order confirmation pages, or our admin area. It is never loaded once you have opted out at benchgradepeptides.com/privacy-choices, and it is never loaded if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal — we treat GPC as an opt-out on its own, with no prompt and no follow-up question.

Your choices. You can turn identification off for your browser, ask us to stop emailing you, ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at benchgradepeptides.com/privacy-choices or by emailing admin@benchgradepeptides.com. We respond to verified requests within 45 days as California law requires, and we forward deletion requests to our identification partner. We will not treat you differently for opting out: same catalog, same prices, same support.

What we keep. For an identified visitor we store the email address, any name our partner supplied, the page you were on, when it happened, and the disclosure version configured when our partner identified the visit. We do not store the query string of the page you were on.
