KPV

C-terminal α-MSH tripeptide studied in inflammation and gut-mucosal research.

KPV is the three-amino-acid C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone — lysine, proline, valine — which in published work retains much of the parent hormone's anti-inflammatory signaling without its pigmentary activity.

The research literature concentrates on inflammation models: colitis and gut-barrier studies where KPV's small size lets it enter cells through peptide transporters, plus dermal and immune-signaling work. Its size also makes it a favorite for formulation research, appearing in several of the catalog's blended products alongside GHK-Cu and BPC-157.
