Randomized clinical trial in 316 Japanese adults with chronic hepatitis B comparing subcutaneous thymosin alpha 1 0.8 vs 1.6 mg twice weekly for 24 weeks. Endpoints: ALT normalization, HBV-DNA and HBeAg clearance at 72 weeks.
