Starting a peptide brand — what to have before you order
Most of what decides whether a new brand works is settled before the first vial ships: entity, channel, fulfillment model, documentation, and how much inventory you can actually turn.
Most of what determines whether a new peptide brand works is decided before the first order. The entity and its insurance, the channel you will sell through, whether you or your supplier fulfills, what documentation you will hand customers, and how much inventory you can realistically turn inside its shelf life.

The entity, and the insurance nobody mentions
You need a business entity, a resale certificate where your state requires one, and commercial general liability cover including products liability. Suppliers operating properly will ask for evidence of the last one before opening an account, and a broker will quote it faster than most people expect.
Decide the channel before the inventory
Brick and mortar, e-commerce, or both changes almost every downstream decision: how much you hold, whether you need a storefront built, whether your supplier ships to you or to your customers, and how quickly stock turns. Operators who buy inventory before answering this end up holding material they cannot move inside its shelf life.
Fulfillment is a business model choice, not a logistics one
| Model | You handle | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Bulk, unlabeled | Labeling and all fulfillment | An existing operation with space and staff |
| Bulk, labeled | Fulfillment only | A brand without a labeling setup |
| Supplier fulfills | Nothing physical | E-commerce, or anyone starting without premises |
The third option is what lets an operator run a brand without a warehouse. The trade is a per-vial fee and less control over the unboxing; the gain is that inventory sitting in someone else's facility is not inventory you have to store, insure and pick.
Documentation is part of the product
Your customers will ask what is in the vial and who tested it. Decide before launch whether you will hand over supplier Certificates of Analysis as issued or have them re-issued in your name, and make sure the arrangement is written into your supply agreement rather than assumed.
What a first order actually looks like
- A narrow range. Four or five compounds you can explain properly beats twenty you cannot.
- Depth over breadth on whichever one your channel actually asks for.
- Enough to meet the supplier's minimum without buying a second year of stock.
- Payment terms understood in advance. Serious suppliers in this category are paid before shipment, and a supplier offering open credit to a brand new account is taking a risk that has to be priced somewhere.
Where to start with us
Our wholesale program puts its prices, minimums and fulfillment fees in a written price sheet for each account, and we build storefronts for operators who do not have one yet. The program and the application are at /wholesale.

Frequently asked questions
- What do I need before ordering wholesale peptides?
- A business entity, a resale certificate where your state requires one, and commercial general liability insurance including products liability. Suppliers operating properly ask for evidence of the insurance before opening an account.
- How much inventory should a new peptide brand buy first?
- Enough to meet the supplier's minimum without buying a second year of stock, concentrated in four or five compounds you can explain properly rather than spread across twenty. Depth in what your channel asks for beats breadth.
- Do I need a warehouse to start a peptide brand?
- No. A supplier-fulfilled model ships individual orders to your customers under your branding, so you hold no physical inventory. The trade is a per-vial fee and less control over presentation; the gain is no storage, insurance or picking.
