Cartalax
Synthetic peptide bioregulator studied in joint and cartilage research models.
Cartalax is supplied by Bench Grade Peptides as a lyophilized powder in a sealed, lot-numbered vial, for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
Its published Certificate of Analysis (lot 00011/0011, analyzed September 20, 2026) is from AV Analytics, a third-party laboratory, and reports 99.81% purity by HPLC; every published lot is listed on the product's COA page. Vials ship at ambient temperature in protective packaging from Florida (Bench Grade Peptides LLC is registered in Dover, Delaware), with storage notes on the lot's certificate.
Cartalax is a short synthetic peptide from the bioregulator series developed by the Khavinson group. Like pinealon and epitalon from the same programme, it is a very short sequence built from common amino acids, designed to be simple to synthesize and to verify.
The literature on Cartalax is small and comes largely from the originating group. Published studies examine it in cell-culture and animal models of connective-tissue and cartilage biology, reporting on gene-expression markers and on proliferation readouts in cultured cells. As with the rest of the bioregulator series, independent replication by other laboratories is limited, and the compound remains a research subject.
Cartalax is the tripeptide Ala-Glu-Asp (C12H19N3O8, 333.29 g/mol); NLM's MeSH vocabulary lists "cartalax" as a synonym of alanyl-glutamyl-aspartic acid. Cartalax is supplied for laboratory research use only.
