SLU-PP-332 5mg
ERR (estrogen-related receptor) agonist studied in mitochondrial-biogenesis and exercise-mimetic research.
SLU-PP-332 5mg is supplied by Bench Grade Peptides as a lyophilized powder in a sealed, lot-numbered vial, for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
Third-party Certificates of Analysis are published per lot in Bench Grade Peptides's public COA library. Vials ship at ambient temperature in protective packaging from Florida (Bench Grade Peptides LLC is registered in Dover, Delaware).
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule, not a peptide, developed at Saint Louis University as an agonist of the estrogen-related receptors ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ. Despite the name, these are orphan nuclear receptors unrelated to estrogen binding; they regulate transcriptional programmes for mitochondrial function and oxidative metabolism.
The published research on SLU-PP-332 is recent. Work including Billon et al. in ACS Chemical Biology (2023) and in the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (2024) reports that the compound activates ERR-dependent gene programmes in cultured cells and in mouse models, with readouts in skeletal-muscle fibre type, mitochondrial gene expression and whole-animal energy expenditure. The literature is still largely from the originating group, so it is an early-stage research tool.
As a small molecule, its identity rests on mass and structure rather than on a sequence. SLU-PP-332 is supplied for laboratory research use only.
