TB-500

TB-500 is the research designation for synthetic Thymosin Beta-4, a 43-residue peptide that occurs naturally in nearly every human and animal cell. Its central role in biology is actin regulation — it binds G-actin monomers and governs how cells build the cytoskeletal filaments they use to move, divide, and repair.

That actin connection is why TB-500 dominates cell-migration research. Published work spans corneal wound models, dermal healing, and cardiac tissue studies, where investigators track how the peptide influences cell motility and inflammatory signaling. As with most research peptides, the bulk of the evidence is preclinical.

TB-500 is frequently studied alongside BPC-157 in repair models — the two appear together in enough protocols that we stock a combined blend. At 4,963 g/mol it is one of the heavier peptides in the catalog, a fact that matters when converting between mass and molar concentrations at the bench.
